What is a sticky message on Discord?

A sticky message is a message that stays at the bottom of a channel. Discord doesn't have this built in, so PinPal reposts your message whenever new messages push it up, and deletes the old copy so the channel stays clean.

Is PinPal free?

Yes. Every server gets 10 sticky messages for free, including embeds, up to 20 link buttons, repost delays from 1 to 15 seconds, presets and share codes. Premium adds extras like rotating messages, variables and a custom name and avatar.

How do I set up a sticky message?

Add PinPal to your server, run /setup, click New pin, write your message, choose channels and press Save. You can try it right here in your browser first.

Will PinPal spam my channel or ping people?

No. PinPal only reposts after new messages arrive, waits for the delay you choose, and always deletes its previous copy. Reposted pins never ping @everyone, @here or roles.

Does PinPal work in threads and announcement channels?

Yes. Pins work in text channels, announcement channels and their threads. One pin can live in up to 25 channels at once.

Can I use embeds and buttons for free?

Yes. Embeds with a title, description, footer and colour, and up to 20 link buttons per pin, are included on the free plan.

Who can create and edit pins?

Anyone with the Manage Server permission, plus a pin manager role you choose in /server. That way moderators can manage pins without full admin rights.

What does PinPal Premium add?
